Name is a module that provides a number of name fields and a FAPI name element.

Multiple values are supported via the core fields engine.

-- REQUIREMENTS --

* None.

You will require the Field UI module to add fields to content.

-- INSTALLATION --

* Standard installation, see http://drupal.org/node/70151 for further information.

-- UPGRADING --

* There is no upgrade path from Drupal 6 to Drupal 7 yet.

-- RELATED MODULES --

* Fullname field for CCK (Drupal 5)
  http://drupal.org/project/cck_fullname

* Namefield (Drupal 5)
  http://drupal.org/project/namefield

-- CONFIGURATION --

* There are lots of configurable options. If anything is not clear, submit a
support request.

-- Views --

* For global combined filter, add each component individually.

Each is named 'Name Components: COMPONENT' where the COMPONENT is one of title, given, family, etc.
