  1. Modernizr for Drupal

  4. This module implements Modernizr, the client-side feature detection

  5. library. Modernizr allows you to avoid user-agent sniffing on the

  6. server, and rely on the honesty of the browsers that visit your

  7. website by detecting each individual feature that they support.

  8. 

  9. Modernizr will inject yes/no classes into your  tag for each

  10. test, so that you can write conditional rules based on the results:

  11.

  14.          support multiple backgrounds */

  15.     }

  16.     .no-multiplebgs div p {

  17.       /* optional fallback properties

  18.          for browsers that don't */

  19.     }

  21. Modernizr v2 optionally includes a script loader which can load

  22. additional resources based on the outcome of specific Modernizr

  23. tests you're interested in:

  25.     Modernizr.load({

  26.       test : Modernizr.geolocation,

  27.       yep  : 'normal.js',

  28.       nope : ['polyfill.js', 'wrapper.js']

  29.     });

  30. 

  31. The 3.x branch of the Drupal module integrates Modernizr.load()

  32. so it can be used by themes/modules that support HTML5/CSS3.
