<p>The CDN module uses File Conveyor's "PID file" (Process ID file) to know whether File Conveyor is up &amp; running or not.</p>

<p>This file usually lives at <tt>~/.fileconveyor.pid</tt>. Thus it is dependent on which user of the system executes File Conveyor.</p>
